In today’s Morning Briefing, I wrote about $SPY and $TQQQ trade ideas.
Both targets were reached. SPY ran right into resistance at 387 and then pulled back, as was alerted.
Here are today’s trades, including updates from yesterday too:
- I shorted $CLX on Dec. 20 at 142.19 and covered half at 141.55.
- I shorted $MCD on Dec. 19 at 265.46 and covered at 265.40; it wasn’t moving.
- I bought $TQQQ on Dec. 20 at 18.38 and sold today at 18.99.
- I shorted $NKE at 118 and 117.56 and covered at 116.60.
- I bought $ADBE at 342.83 and sold at 343.83.
- I called out $MRNA at 207 for a move to 208, 208.50.
I booked two losers today:
- I shorted $TMUS at 139.60 and covered at 140.35.
- I bought $LULU at 319.71 and and sold at 318.71. There was a profit up to 320.40, but I didn’t take it.
I have open long positions in $IWM, $ARKK, and $SHOP and open short positions in $CLX, $WYNN, and $CAT.
Now we need to see if the indices can push past the 50-day moving average and back to $SPX 3,900 or so.
I’d like to see 3,850 held over the coming days.
