This market can’t seem to get out of its own way.
Just when you think it can head uphill, we have a rug-pull.
Today it was data out in the morning that pushed the indices lower.
Here are today’s trades:
- I bought $NET at 40.68 and sold at 41.08.
- I bought $RBLX at 29.12 and sold at 29.14. A flat trade, this name did finally go to target at 29.60 to 29.80. Others held on. I should have.
- I bought $SNOW at 123.25 and sold at 123.90.
- I bought $MRNA at 173.29 and sold at 173.89.
- I bought $TSLA at 109.10 and sold at 109.76.
I booked two losers today:
- I bought $BABA at 103.27 and sold at 101.87. Others held on, and it went to target at 104.30.
- I bought $SE at 56.02 and sold at 55.72. It was a small loss, and I’m keeping my eye on this one.
I have open long positions in $IWM, $ARKK, and $SHOP and an open short position in $NKE.
$SPY needs to be above 382.30 to get moving.
Lots of chop. The market can be frustrating.
I just try to get on base!
