Silver Divergence. Wait, what?

Here's something you don't see every day.

Silver showing a bullish divergence?

How could this not be the chart of the day?

Gold is making new multi-year lows this week, but Silver is pushing higher.

In fact, despite the recent pressure in Gold prices, Silver is going out at the highest weekly close since early August:

When something happens in the market that doesn't really add up, I like to pay closer attention.

If things were so bad in precious metals, why would silver diverge like this?

I don't want to make too big of a deal over one data point, but it's certainly a start and an extra reason to go through all my gold and silver charts this weekend.

What are you seeing out there?

Any gold or silver miners that you think are worth looking at?

Newmont put in a nice stick today. That's definitely something you don't see every day!
