What a week, what a day...

The market was full speed ahead for the end of the quarter.

Today is quarter's end, and they surely window-dressed this week. Hey, we might even continue higher from here.

$SPY is nearing next resistance at 405, and after that is 408.

We're seeing another gap up in the indices today.

I said on Monday that we could see window-dressing before quarter's end, and that's exactly what's going on.

The market is trying to push past the 4,000 level on the $SPX.

If we can manage to hold, there's potential up to 4,039, then 4,050.

We're seeing a decent-sized gap up this morning.

Now we have to see if the indices hold on to the gap or back and fill.

The market isn't mustering up the power to trend higher just yet.

I'd like $SPY to hold 392 and hopefully break above 400 in time.

We saw a nice gap up this morning for the indices.

Then they came back down.

That was a nice reversal Friday after the early morning drop.

We still need to get back above 400 on $SPY.

I like to say this market is not for the faint of heart.

This morning we're trading below the 200-day moving average on $SPY.

Unless we recover 392.44 we can head back down to 385.

It started off strong, then it faltered.

We saw a swift reversal down in the indices yesterday after the Fed's rate-hike announcement.

Now we need to see if we stabilize in here to trend back up or break down.
