I hope you all enjoyed attending Chart Summit as much as I enjoyed hosting it!
I must say, I'm still amazed that we were able to pull that off, and I couldn't be more proud of the team behind me and the presenters virtually alongside me, who helped make it all possible.
A lot of you have reached out wondering how you can view the replays of last weekend's presentations. And well, the wait is over!
All the presentations have been archived and posted at ChartSummit.com. As a heads up, you will be required to register to the site to access the replays, which is a quick and simple process. Don't worry.
It's been a month since the first Chart Summit India on April 14, 2020. I've been watching the videos and learning a lot, and encouraging everyone to do so.
We had 20 brilliant Technical Analysts get together online to raise funds to help fight COVID-19. Thousands of people logged in live, and thousands more came to watch the videos later. I have to say that the Technical Analyst community online has some of the nicest people on the internet. They shared valuable knowledge for FREE. This is stuff that's made them money, and has taken them years to learn.
To start the day we had Peter L Brandt, a legendary commodity trader. Peter lives in Arizona, and trades global markets. He's written books, runs Factor LLC, and has traded on classical chart patters in 6 decades. When he talks, I listen.
With Chart Summit India now almost a month in the rearview, I finally found some time to go back and rewatch some of the presentations.
Together with our partners, we hosted 20 amazing speakers and thousands of attendees and raised a remarkable amount of money to fight the COVID-19 pandemic. It was a really great event and an honor to be a part of.
With over 10 hours of content from some of the market's top technicians, I won't be able to do them all justice in just a short blog post so I highly encourage you to go watch all the full presentations for yourself. They can be accessed for free here.
With that said I'll try and do my best. Bruni recently wrote a post about some of his main takeaways from the conference which you can read here. I'm going to build on that today and share some of the things I found valuable from the handful of presentations I recently went back and watched.
A couple of weekends ago, I had the privilege of hosting Chart Summit 2020, an online virtual Technical Analysis conference. We had over 30 presentations, 10,000 attendees and raised a ton of money to help the people who need it most right now. A great part about the whole thing is, not only all the fun we had, but how much we all learned!
Wow what a weekend! Thank you all so much for your support.
We had 10,000 people register for Chart Summit, our Live Virtual Technical Analysis Conference. There were over 30 presentations and we raised over $50,000, just on the first day, to help fight COVID-19. You can still donate here.
We made it really easy to access the videos and organized them so you can go back and watch whenever you want. Just go to Chartsummit.com and click Watch The Videos and you're on your way!

When we talk about Equities, we need to think about them holistically as an asset class as opposed to simply focusing on the individual stock or sector or index we're looking at.
Our Video team has been hard at work publishing the videos of all the presentations from this year's Chart Summit. They sent over this highlight reel that I think shows exactly what went down in Breckenridge last month. If you were not able to attend this year, don't worry, we're already thinking about locations for Chart Summit 2020!
Going through charts and coming up with conclusions is not just something you do once. For this to work, Technical Analysis has to be a lifestyle. Getting away from the screen regularly and coming back open minded is part of that work / life balance. In this conversation I talk about some of the struggles I've had personally trying not to let the implications of us being right in our assessment impact my decision making. Thanks to Donnie Hensley and Speedtrader for being a part of Chart Summit 2019.
One of the cool things about Chart Summit this year was that we were all surrounded by smart experienced market participants with unique styles and approaches to the market. When you have a collection of talent like this, I think it's wise to pull them off to the side and pick their brains. In this conversation, I ask Todd Gordon about Fibonacci Analysis and why he uses it so frequently. Some people like to dismiss it, and that's fine. If I didn't think it helped, trust me, I wouldn't use it. But it's been helping me every day for well over a decade. I really enjoyed this chat with Todd and I'm thrilled that he was able to be a part of the first ever live Chart Summit in Breckenridge, CO.
