I interrupt this bear market to bring you stocks that are going up.

While people are crying about their stocks going down, we're focused on the winners.

You know why? Because winners tend to keep on winning.

And losers? Well, we don't care so much for you. By definition, few people do.

Here's a stock making new 6-month highs this week.

You may have heard of it:

One of the things they teach you in Technical Analysis kindergarten is recognizing the infamous Island Reversal.

This relatively rare pattern is made up of a series of gaps, in both directions, leaving a period of time, days, weeks or months, where prices are left behind in an "island" of sorts.

Take this example here above. You can see the gap down in April where this sucker fell from 350 to 212 overnight.

Ouch.

But that was when stocks were in a bear market.

Now that stocks are (potentially) in a new bull market, stocks like this one are going up. New 6-month highs in fact.

And remember, Netflix is one of the largest components in the worst sector on the planet: Communications.

So one of the largest components of the most garbage sector on earth is breaking out to new 6-month highs?

Not exactly a bear market characteristic!

This one looks like a classic Island reversal to me.

In other words, a gap fill and chill.
