Swing Trader Pro: Afternoon Briefing (08-10-2023)

Here are today’s trades:

• I bought $CRWD on August 9 at 145.40 and 146.90 and sold today at 147.79.
• I bought $NKE at 111.28 and sold at 111.90.
• I shorted $VLO at 136.55 and covered at 136.02.
• I shorted $HD at 132 and covered at 131.50.
• I shorted $LULU at 387.60 and covered at 386.60. Before I signed off, I said it had potential to 386. 
• I shorted $IWM at 190.80 and covered at 190.09. I mentioned in the Live Trading Room at 1:07 p.m. ET that it could head down to gap-fill if anyone wanted to short it.

I also called out setups in $BABA and $TSLA, but I missed both trades.

I booked two losers:

• I bought $BA small, because I trade this name poorly, at 241.49 and sold at 239.40.
• I shorted $EXPE at 110.70 and covered at 111.44.

I have open long positions in $VXX and $MRNA.

I have open short positions in $QQQ, $KLAC, $NFLX, and $MS.
