$SPY hit the 415 mark and then pulled in.

And then this market limped into the close.

Tech was weak once again, and this might be a continuing theme. 

Here are today’s trades:

  • I shorted $GDX on April 13 at 35.78 and covered today at 35.25.
  • I bought $HES on April 12 at 145 and sold today at 149.50. I'm still long my original shares.
  • I bought $LVS on April 13 at 57.29 and sold today at 57.80.
  • I bought $AMZN at 102.49 and sold at 103.
  • I bought $PYPL at 76.03 and sold at 76.60.
  • I shorted $CAT at 223.76 and covered at 223.66; it wasn't moving.

I have open long positions in $HES, $VXX, $ERY, and $UNG.

$JPM bounced off the 135 level. We'll see how it handles itself next week.
