Swing Trader Pro: Afternoon Briefing (04-05-2023)

Here are today’s trades:

• I shorted $XLK on April 3 at 150 and covered today at 149. My target was 147.60, but I became impatient.
• I bought $MS at 83.81 and sold at 84.24. I bought tooo late.
• I bought $MRK at 110.08 and sold at 110.60. I sold way too soon.
• I shorted $MSFT at 285.04 and covered at 284.51.
• I shorted $CLF at 17.08 and covered at 16.90. Seems small, but it was over a 1% trade!
• I bought $TSLQ at 47 and sold at 47.50. I alerted the room about this one...
• I bought $JNJ at 163.6 and sold at 164.80.
• I shorted $UNH at 507.66 and covered at 506.66.

I booked two losers:

• I bought $JNJ at 163.98 and sold at 162.96. I came back to the trade later, as you see above, and I made money back.
• I bought $SCHW at 49 and sold at 48.63. I came back to the trade later on and am still in it. 

I have open long positions in $HES, $VXX, $ERY, and $SCHW. And I have an open short position in $CAT.

On a day like today, with the market moving the way it did, it's hard to give ideas. I was stopped out of names and came back in.

Tomorrow is options expiration, so we'll see what that brings.
