Are OSTK Insider Buys Votes of Confidence?

The largest insider transaction on today’s list is a Form 4 filing by Mark and Edward Shoen’s Willow Grove Holdings LP.

The holding company revealed a purchase worth $32.4 million in AMERCO $UHAL. The Shoen family remains the largest holders of UHAL stock.

General Atlantic LP revealed a purchase of 554,988 shares, equivalent to $5.3 million in HireRight Holdings Corporation $HRT.

Both a director and the CEO of Overstock.com $OSTK bought shares on the open market, a vote of confidence in the embattled retailer.

Conestoga Capital Advisors filed a 13G for Mesa Laboratories $MLAB, revealing an increase in ownership from 10.36% to 11.37%.

There was also insider activity in two mega-cap stocks: Intel $INTC and Home Depot $HD.

In the options market, there was bullish flow in Pinterest $PINS.
