Tough action in the market this week.

We started at $SPX 4,008 then dropped down to 3,906. Looks like the index is forming a bull flag.

Next week is typically a bullish week.

Here's today's winner:

  • I bought $TGT at 162.80 and sold at 164.10.

Here's today's loser:

  • I bought $HD at 314.50 and sold at 312.11. I traded this small as I was mixed about this stock moving today.

I have two open positions, a $VLO short and an $IBM short.

I do remember the past few years being weak -- except for the day after Thanksgiving, which has been bullish. We'll take it day by day.

I don't like trading much on option expiration Fridays.
