Today was like a strange pendulum -- back and forth and up and down and all around.

The $SPY tried hard all morning to hold on to the eight-day moving average at 391.40.

Once $AAPL started to move higher, so did the indices -- SPY ran up to 394-plus.

Here are today’s trades:

  • I bought $NOC at 511.60 and sold at 514.
  • I bought $MU at 57.60 and sold at 58.09.
  • I bought $M at 21.88 and sold at 22.17.
  • I bought $AAPL at 149.10 and sold at 149.80.

Here are today’s losers:

  • I bought $TGT at 158.80 and sold at 157.58.
  • I bought $ARKK two times and sold for small losses on both, roughly 20 cents.

I have an open short in $VLO.

We’re still in a tough spot. Time will tell if we drift higher.
