We saw a lot of movement in the indices today.

The $SPX hit resistance near the 50-day moving average around 3,800 and reversed lower but then rallied into the close. 

Here are today’s trades:

  • I shorted $CAT at 226.22 and covered at 225.10.
  • I shorted $VLO at 131.61 and covered at 130.96.
  • I bought $AMD at 62.30 and sold at 62.70.

I booked one loser today:

  • I bought $GOOGL at 86.14 on Thursday, November 3, and sold today at 85.96.

This name went to a profit. I just didn't have the patience on Options Expiration Friday to stick it out. My target was 86.80.

We'll  see what the upcoming week looks like and whether we continue uphill or slide back to the lows.
