Swing Trader Pro: Afternoon Briefing (09-28-2022)

What a day, gains of more than 1% for the major indices across the board.

Yesterday, at around 2:45 p.m. ET, I alerted Swing Trader Pro Members in Rangefinder that I bought the $SPY at 363.80. My target was 368. We hit over 372.

Nice move!

It was hard to tell if this was going to be the day we go full speed ahead, as on Monday and Tuesday the markets reversed and closed roughly near the lows of the day both days.

Here's how I traded today...

  • I bought $XOM at 86.49 and at sold 86.90.
  • I bought $OXY at 59.18 and at sold 59.70.

Both these names kept going. I should have sold half and kept half but I had to step into 2 meetings.

Anyway...

  • I shorted $TWTR at 42.82 and covered for a small loss at 42.86.

Today was a solid day. Hopefully we can continue the trend higher to SPX 3,789!

I alerted STP Members this morning on a $BABA long. It had a nice day, but, unfortunately, I didn't take the trade. That doesn't mean you couldn't have gotten it done.

Please keep in mind, in order to capture trades, you need to be listening in the morning if you can when I go live.

I post SWING trades and updates in the Rangefinder app. I can't post live trades fast enough in the APP that's why, if you're able to, listen when I go live!!
