Singapore's Sovereign Wealth Fund Loads up on Affirm

The largest insider buy on today's list is a Form 4 filing by Jan Barta of Pale Fire Capital.

Barta now owns 2,658,550 shares of Groupon $GRPN, which represents an ownership stake of approximately 9%.

Bradley Radoff, director of Fondren Management LP, filed a 13D revealing a 5.6% ownership stake in the oil and gas equipment and services company Newpark Resources $NR.

There was also a large Form 4 filing by Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund GIC Private LTD.

It reported a purchase of 134,197 shares worth roughly $4.6 million in the financial technology company Affirm Holdings $AFRM.

Interestingly, there was also bearish options flow in May’s monthly puts for AFRM.

There was bullish options flow in the retail pharmacy chain Walgreens Boots Alliance $WBA (for the second time this week) as well as the online lodging and vacation rental platform Airbnb $ABNB.
