The Outperformers

July 8, 2021

We debuted a new scan recently- The Outperformers.

The Outperformers is our newest scan that pinpoints the very best stocks in the market. It’s the fastest, easiest way to find quality names that are primed for major moves.

The goal is that as the market rally progresses, the sector rotation within the market will reflect in this scan. So while our Top/Down Analysis helps us with the broader view of the market, this Bottom/Up scan makes sure that we catch the slightest change in sentiment.

Here is the list of The Outperformers that we sorted by way of relative strength. These stocks have been selected on the basis of inter-, and intra- sectoral performances. So while these belong to the sectors that are outperforming the market, these stocks are also outperforming their peers within the same sector.

In our last post, we looked at Infosys.

Today we have a cement stock that's made its way back into the list.

Please note that this is a monthly chart, with June's closing price. We have used this chart to specify the levels clearly.

Ramco Cements has been a recurring name in this sector due to the inherent strength that its been displaying for a while now. We're looking at this again as the stock is pushing towards a new all-time high and looks promising.

On a relative basis, the stock is bouncing from crucial support. The price is forming a flag pattern on the monthly chart, which is a continuation pattern. The price breakout occurs in the direction of the underlying.

Another factor that adds to the view is the price consolidation above prior highs. The price is able to sustain above its swing high. These consolidations indicate that the demand at higher levels is consistent.

We are bullish above the level of 900, with a target near 1,430.

This bottom-up scan helps us identify the stocks that are on the move as sectors continue to shuffle between strength and weakness.

Thanks for reading and please let us know if you have any questions.
