New Year's Resolution: More Monthly Charts

January 1, 2020

Do you want to know my cheat code?

It's the Monthly Candlesticks.

I'm telling you. That's my secret. And it's been starring at us right in the face at the end of every single month.

It takes me about half an hour to go through my Monthly Charts. When you add that up over 12 months, it's only 6 hours of work. There is no 6 hours the rest of the entire year that even comes close to the value I get from this monthly exercise.

Is this not a breakout from a 21 month base?

Are we supposed to have been in cash since the summer because the Dow Jones Transportation Average hasn't made a new high yet? It's coming. Watch.

Mid-caps, the Jan Brady's of the world, have officially joined the part and making new all-time highs:

Europe is breaking out, not breaking down. Highest monthly close since 2008.

I'm pretty confident this chart is going to be really helpful throughout 2020 for identifying the stronger trend:

This is also happening right now:

Tomorrow is our Monthly Conference Call. We'll go over all of these and a lot more in greater detail.

If you can't make the call live, the video will be archived along with the slide deck of charts available to download.

If you have not registered for our Premium Video Call, email me and I'll send you a link.

This is going to be a great year!

I'm stoked for tomorrow's call

JC
