US Gas Prices

With all this talk about Oil selling off hard yesterday, let's remind ourselves where Gasoline prices are and where they came from. Doug Short does a great job showing Retail Gasoline Prices going back to 2000.
Just so we're all on the same page, remember that the price of oil is still 22% from its 2008 high, while the price at the pump is just 10% from its high. So all that complaining a couple of years ago came when US consumers actually were getting a better deal than they are now.
