What a week it's been, straight down for the indices.

Maybe next week we get that mid-August bounce.

Today I had four wins and four losses.

Keep in mind my shorts are a fraction of my longs, so, yes, they were losses, but my wins were larger.

Here are today’s trades: 

  • I bought $LULU at 381.50 and sold at 382.50.
  • I bought $RIG at 8.71 and sold at 8.82.
  • I shorted $ADBE at 110.50 and 110.70 and covered at 110.
  • I shorted $VLO at 139.21 and covered at 138.60.

I also called out a setup in $OXY at 64.33.

Here are the losers:

  • I shorted $SPY at 443.70 and covered at 446.40.
  • I shorted $SPY at 444.75 and covered at 445.
  • I shorted $MSFT at 319.83 and covered at 321.83.
  • I bought $AMD at 108.58 and sold at 107.49.

I have open long positions in $VXX and $MRNA.

I have open short positions in $QQQ, $KLAC, $NFLX, $MS, and $MSFT.
