Buffett and Berkshire Are Buying More OXY

Fresh off their annual meeting, Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway takes the spotlight on today’s hot list.

Buffett and Berkshire continue to accumulate shares of Occidental Petroleum $OXY, disclosing yet another purchase, this one worth roughly $125 million. 

Here’s the OXY chart, with the Buffett/Berkshire purchases highlighted:

Director David Yuan revealed a purchase of $12.5 million in Toast Inc $TOST in his latest Form 4 filing.

Here’s The Hot List, with data through May 16, 2023:

In another Form 4, the CEO of Luminar Technologies $LAZR reported the acquisition of 1,300,000 shares.

There was also insider activity in Tyson Foods $TSN, B. Riley Financial $RILY, Energy Transfer LP $ET and Symbotic Inc $SYM.

Over in Washington, Rep. Jonathan Jackson of Illinois revealed a purchase between $15,000 and $50,000 in Deere & Company $DE, Visa $V and Parker-Hannifin Corporation $PH.

In the options market there was bullish flow in ON Semiconductor Corporation $ON, Frontier Communications Parent $FYBR and ZoomInfo Technologies Inc $ZI.

The only stock that saw bearish flow was Western Alliance Bancorporation $WAL.
