The market was in a standstill today, awaiting the CPI print on Wednesday.

The indices held on.

Tomorrow might give a clearer picture near term.

Here are today’s trades:

  • I shorted $SHOP on May 8 at 64.97 and 63.50 and covered today at 63.01.
  • I bought $SNOW on May 8 at 159.60 and sold today at 163.24. I called this name out in the live trading room, as yesterday it didn't go to target.
  • I bought $NFLX at 331.58 and sold at 332.58.
  • I bought $AMZN on May 8 at 105.96 and sold today at 106.48.
  • I bought $BABA at 81.70 and sold at 81.88. It did go to target at 82.33, but it was slow.
  • I bought $CVNA at 11.92 and sold at 12.28.
  • I shorted $BA at 200.66 and covered at 199.67. I called this one out in the live trading room. I tried it long in the morning, but it didn't go.

I booked on loser:

  • I bought $BA at 204.42 and sold at 201.57.

I have open long positions in $HES and $VXX and an open short position in $QQQ.
