Swing Trader Pro: Afternoon Briefing (05-08-2023)

Here are today’s trades:

• I bought $ZS at 108.74 and sold at 109.90.
• I bought $CRWD at 128.28 and sold at 130.
• I bought $AAPL at 173.15 and sold at 173.70.
• I bought $AMD at 91 and sold at 91.63. I stopped out, foolishly, then came back. Sold too soon.
• I shorted $CAT at 214.82 and covered at 213.82.

An STPer mentioned $NFLX in the live trading room -- after that I said it has room to 330, and some took the trade.

I booked a few losers today:

• I bought $AMD at 90.17 and sold at 90.08.
• I shorted $NET at 45.16 and covered at 45.75.
• I bought $SNOW at 162.94 and sold at 158.41.

I have open long positions in $HES, $VXX, and $AMZN. And I have open short positions in $QQQ and $SHOP.

Tech is what's holding up the overall market.
