Overall it was a decent day for the indices, considering we had data out at 10 a.m. ET and then FOMC minutes at 2 p.m.

I'd still like to see the indices trend higher. Specifically, I'd like to see $SPY 387.80.

Here are today’s trades:

  • I bought $MU on Jan. 3 at 50.47 and sold today at 52.07.
  • I shorted $TGT on Jan. 3 at 150.07 and covered today at 149.10.
  • I shorted $MSFT at 230.03 and covered at 228.71.
  • I bought $NFLX at 299.98 and sold at 301.
  • I bought $NFLX at 304.07 and sold at 305.07.
  • I bought $PYPL at 77.64 and sold at 77.93.

I have open long positions in $IWM, $ARKK, and $SHOP, and I have an open short position in $NKE.
