We filled the gap down on the $SPX at 3,818 and the market continued lower.

$QQQ closed its respective gap as well.

Here are today's trades:

  • I bought $CAT on Dec. 16 at 231.61 and sold today at 232.80.
  • I bought $GS on Dec. 16 at 347 and sold today at 347.89.
  • I called out a $BA long setup and an $ADBE short setup in the live trading room.

I booked one loser:

  • I bought $X at 25.20 and sold at 24.88.

I have open long positions in $AAPL, $ARKK, $IWM, and $SHOP and an open short position in $MCD.

I've been trading small all year, and during this recent drop I've been even smaller.

Santa might not show up this year, and if he does it might be short-lived.

It doesn't feel like this market wants to hold at all.
