The market opened lower and continued on that path all day.

It was a tough day, and I tried to manage risk.

The $SPX hit some support at 3,887. The next level down is 3,867.

Here are today’s trades:

  • I bought $AAPL at 138.08 and sold at 138.09; it wasn't moving.

I booked two losers:

  • I bought $MU at 52.70 and sold at 52.61.
  • I bought $SQ at 68.72 and sold at 68.12; I was minimizing risk here.

I have open long positions in $SHOP, $ARKK, and $IWM and an open short position in $MS.

Tomorrow is quad witching in the options market, so it could be another volatile day.
