I mentioned yesterday that we'd see volatility over the next few days, and the market delivered just that today.

After 1:00 p.m. ET the market took a nosedive. Then it started to level off and even rallied into the close.

Here are today’s trades:

  • I bought $NET at 39.39 and sold at 39.67.
  • I bought $TSLA at 190.71 and sold at 191.71.
  • I bought $TGT at 162.93 and sold at 163.93.
  • I bought $ROKU at 52.29 and sold at 52.61.
  • I shorted $CAT at 132.10 and covered at 131.10.

I booked one loss today:

  • I bought $MU at 57.20 and sold at 57.06.

Some inside the live trading room held onto MU and it ran to target at 57.60.

I have one open position, a $GOOGL short.

I'd assume we'll have volatility most of the night. and we might not even have answers to the big election questions by morning.

The market does not like uncertainty. We did hold support at the close at $SPX 3,800 and 3,824.
