The market started off strong and finished even stronger.

We saw a  midday lull, but that was bought up!  The $SPY broke above its 50-day moving average at roughly 379.

Here are today’s trades:

  • I bought $META at 95.24 and sold at 95.80.
  • I bought $NET at 39.39 and sold at 39.70.
  • I shorted $AMAT at 92.43 and covered at 92.25.
  • I bought $MRNA at 161.70 and sold at 163.70.
  • I bought $TSLA at 197.97 and sold at 199.05.

I wrote about $BA in the Morning Briefing and called it out in the live trading room at 161 for a target of 165. I did the same with $MSFT, at 222 for a target of 225.

I booked one loser:

  • I shorted $NKE at 93.76 and covered at 93.94. It did eventually drop down to 92.67. 

I have one open position, a $GOOGL short.

I would think there might be more volatility tomorrow with the election and into Wednesday morning.

We'll see if the $SPY can hold onto the 374-to-375 zone tomorrow.
