The market gapped up this morning and came back to fill yesterday's high.

The market overall bounced off of that gap-fill and held steady until news came out on $AAPL late afternoon.

Here are today's trades:

  • I bought $AAPL yesterday at 142.50 and sold it this morning at 144.30.
  • I bought $VTI last Friday at 185.70 and sold it at 187 today.
  • I shorted $SBUX at 90.06 and covered at 89.26.
  • I bought $SQQQ, adding to my hedge at 54, and sold it at 56.38.
  • I bought $BABA at 75.88 and sold it at 76.25.

I have two open swing positions:

  • I bought $CAT at 184.60.
  • I bought $MS at 80.45.

Overall, the market hung on. I guess we shall see where it takes us next.

We have to stay on our toes with this volatility. And I think this volatility is here to stay for a while.
