Buffett Successor Abel Makes Big BRK Buy

The most significant insider activity on today’s list was reported in a series of Form 4 filings by Greg Abel, the vice-chairman of Berkshire Hathaway $BRK.

Abel reported purchases worth roughly $68 million in Berkshire’s class A shares.

The transactions help to align the executive more closely with shareholders as he prepares to take the reins of the company at some point in the future.

Greenhouse Funds LLP filed a 13G for Clarus Corporation $CLAR, revealing an increase in ownership from 7% to 10.30%.

The outdoor equipment manufacturer has fallen more than 50% from its highs in mid-August.

ICONIQ Strategic Partners filed a Form 4 reporting a purchase of 488,640 shares, equivalent to $17 million worth of the software stock Braze Inc $BRZE.

In the options market, there was bullish flow in Google Inc $GOOG, Advanced Micro Devices $AMD, Peabody Energy BTU, and Chewy Inc $CHWY.
