Buffett Is Back for More OXY

Just as we’ve been wondering if that was it for Warren Buffett and Occidental Petroleum $OXY, the largest insider buy on today's list is a Form 4 filing by Berkshire Hathaway $BRK.A.

Buffett revealed another purchase in OXY, as he continues to build his position in the energy stock.

This is the first OXY filing we’ve seen from Buffett and Berkshire in almost two months.

If the company's warrants are taken into account, which give it the option to purchase an additional 83.9 million shares, Berkshire's stake is just under 30%.

Without the warrants, which are currently out of the money, it owns just over 20%.

Conestoga Capital Advisors LLC filed a 13G revealing an initial 10.15% ownership stake in Transcat $TRNS.

In another Form 4, Nimish P. Shah reported a purchase of 587,214 shares, equivalent to $5.2 million of Tricida $TCDA.

In the options market, there was bullish flow in Teladoc Health TDOC, Liberty Global plc $LBTYA, and Vista Oil & Gas $VIST.
