Biotech Catches Some Bids

The largest insider splash on today’s list is a Form 4 filing by Gregory Bailey, an independent director at Biohaven Pharmaceutical $BHVN.

Bailey reported the purchase of approximately $5.6 million in his company’s stock.

Director Michael Andrew Chambers revealed the purchase of 46,170 shares, equivalent to approximately $5 million, in the mid-cap biotech Sarepta Therapeutics $SRPT.

In another Form 4, Thermopylae Holdings Ltd. reported a $2.2 million purchase in AbCellera Biologics $ABCL, a mid-cap biotech known for its COVID-19 therapy.

Thermopylae Holdings is owned by AbCellera’s founder and CEO, Carl Hansen, who now owns over 21% of outstanding shares.

The president and CEO of fast food joint Krispy Kreme $DNUT disclosed a purchase of $378,225 of stock in a Form 4 filing.

There was also some insider activity reported in Repay Holdings $RPAY, Jeld-Wen Holding $JELD, and Kohl's Corporation $KSS.

Last but not least, there was bullish flow in two oil and gas companies, Antero Resources $AR and Schlumberger Limited $SLB.
