Ubben's Value Act Reports 6.7% NYT Stake

The most significant insider transaction on today's list comes from a 13D filing by Jeff Ubben’s Value Act.

The hedge fund revealed an ownership stake of 6.70% in The New York Times Company $NYT.

The stock rallied over 10% following the news yesterday, closing at fresh three-month highs.

Director Brian Gerald John Gray revealed the purchase of roughly $1 million worth of RenaissanceRe Holdings $RNR in a Form 4.

The executive chairman of Energy Transfer LP $ET is back on our list for the second day in a row.

He revealed an additional purchase worth $17 million, as he continues to build his stake.

There was also insider buying reported in Form 4s by the CEOs of Luminar Technologies $LAZR and NerdWallet $NRDS.

Jeffrey J. Brown filed a Form 4 reporting a purchase of about $556,832 in the nutrition company Medifast $MED.

In the options market, there was bullish flow in Flex Ltd $FLEX and Virtu Financial $VIRT.

On the other hand, 23andMe Holding $ME and ChargePoint Holdings $CHPT experienced bearish flow.
