CD&R Investment Associates disclosed the purchase of approximately $6 million worth of Beacon Roofing Supply $BECN in a Form 4 on Friday.

The firm now owns 24,348,048 shares, which represents a roughly 35% ownership stake in the mid-cap building products company.

Financial publishing magnate and author Porter Stansberry reported a purchase of 706,249 shares, roughly equivalent to $1,882,463 in MarketWise $MKTW.

In another Form 4, Director Laura O'Shaughnessy revealed an insider buy worth $100,360 in Acuity Brands $AYI.

In the options market, there was bullish flow in YETI Holdings $YETI and ON Semiconductor Corp $ON.

There was also bearish flow in the large cap semiconductor manufacturer Micron Technology $MU.
