OXY Is All Over This Hot List

Warren Buffett filed his latest Form 4 yesterday, as Berkshire Hathaway $BRK continues to accumulate shares of Occidental Petroleum $OXY.

The additional 1.94 million shares leaves him with an ownership percentage just shy of 20%.

If we include the company’s warrants, which allows it to buy an additional 83.9 million shares, Berkshire’s interest is over 28%.

Director Richard D. Brannon revealed a purchase of 137,000 shares in Energy Transfer LP $ET, equivalent to $1.7 million.

Here’s The Hot List, with data through July 18, 2022:

PFM Health Sciences filed a 13G revealing an ownership stake of 5.10% in the mid-cap biotechnology company uniQure NV $QURE.

Over in Washington, Rep. Kevin Hern of Oklahoma revealed a purchase between $15,000 and $50,000 in two oil and gas companies, Pioneer Natural Resources $PXD and Devon Energy $DVN.

Last but not least, there was bullish flow in Boston Scientific $BSX and Fastly $FSLY.

There was also some bullish action in Occidental Petroleum's $60 strike weekly calls. Could it have been Berkshire?
