Insiders Load up on Bitcoin Proxy MicroStrategy

June 15, 2022

The largest insider transaction on today's list is a Form 4 filing by Ernest Garcia II, CEO and co-founder of Carvana $CVNA.

Garcia II reported an additional purchase of roughly $42 million of his own stock.

William Griffith, director of Procore Technologies $PCOR, revealed an acquisition worth $24,499,487 in the cloud-based construction management software company.

The CEO and the CFO of Dun & Bradstreet Holdings $DNB both filed Form 4s reporting considerable purchases of their own stock.

Here’s The Hot List, with data through June 14, 2022:

Carl Rickertsen, independent director at MicroStrategy $MSTR, revealed a purchase of approximately 4,000 shares in the Bitcoin proxy.

We’ve seen a handful of MSTR directors and executives purchase shares recently.

It’s unlikely all these insiders are buying stock in their own company if they are about to be margin-called.

In another Form 4, the executive chairman of Avis Budget Group $CAR disclosed purchases totaling about $5 million of his own company.

Last but not least, there was bullish options flow in Southwest Airlines $LUV, DraftKings $DKNG, and Twitter $TWTR.

There was also bearish flow in the world’s largest athletic apparel company, Nike $NKE.

Stay tuned. We'll be back Thursday with more insider action.
