Soros Sees Something in indie Semiconductor

Last week, George Soros filed a 13G revealing the purchase of 9,425,000 shares of the small-cap automotive semiconductor company indie Semiconductor $INDI.

This brings Soros Fund Management's total interest to 9.20%, making it the largest shareholder of the company.

The founder of Best Buy $BBY, Richard M. Schulze, revealed the purchase of roughly $20 million worth of his own stock in a Form 4.

Another 13G was filed by Select Equity Group, which reported a passive ownership stake of 14.70% in the clothing retailer American Eagle $AEO.

In another Form 4, Julian Baker of Baker Bros Advisors LP revealed a purchase of approximately $2.3 million in the small-cap biotech company Kodiak Sciences $KOD.

The only 13D on our list today was filed by Mario Gabelli and Gamco Investors.

The firm revealed a 9.6% ownership stake in the small-cap building products stock Griffon Corporation $GFF.

In the options markets, there was bullish flow in the Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Li Auto $LI and the retail broker Robinhood $HOOD.

There was also bearish flow in the oil and gas stock Kosmos Energy $KOS.
