Berkshire Boosts OXY Stake to 21.6%

Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway $BRK.A revealed more buying in Occidental Petroleum $OXY late last week.

In its latest 13G, the company reported a 21.6% ownership stake, which is roughly double its initial investment from earlier in the year.

Steven C. Voorhees, director at Truist Financial Corporation $TFC, revealed a purchase of roughly $1 million worth of his own company’s stock in a Form 4.

A director of Caterpillar $CAT, Dave MacLennan, disclosed a purchase of 600 shares of his company’s stock in a Form 4.

The CEO and the CFO of Customers Bancorp $CUBI each filed Form 4s revealing purchases totaling roughly $166,926.

Over in Washington, there was some activity from Rep. Virginia Foxx of North Carolina, who disclosed purchases in TotalEnergies $TTE, Rio Tinto Group $RIO, Magellan Midstream Partners $MMP, and British American Tobacco $BTI.

Last but not least, there was bullish options flow in the oil and gas company U.S. Silica Holdings $SLCA.
