Buffett Buys More OXY

The largest insider transaction on today's list comes to us in a Form 4 filing by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway $BRK.A.

Buffett continues to grow his position in Occidental Petroleum $OXY. He just revealed an additional purchase that brings his total ownership to 226 million shares, representing a 12.15% interest.

The co-founder and the chief legal officer of HCA Healthcare $HCA each filed Form 4s revealing purchases totaling roughly $18 million.

There was also a significant insider purchase by Simon Groom, as the British producer continues to build his stake in iHeartMedia $IHRT.

His latest purchase was worth just under $25 million.

The only 13G on our list today was filed by Senvest Management LLC to reveal a 5.17% ownership stake in Quidel Corporation $QDEL.

In the options market, we saw more bullish flow in the world's largest Uranium company, Cameco Corporation $CCJ.

This has been a popular play for options traders over the past month.

There was also bullish flow in the multinational automotive manufacturing corporation General Motors $GM and bearish flow in the restaurant and entertainment stock Dave & Buster's $PLAY.

Last but not least, over in Washington, Rep. Lois Frankel of Florida revealed a small purchase in Johnson Controls International $JCI.
