Carvana CEO Backs up the Truck

The largest insider transaction on today's Hot List is a Form 4 filing by Ernest Garcia II, CEO and co-founder of Carvana $CVNA.

CVNA just raised an additional $1 billion via a private offering of perpetual preferred stock, and Garcia has taken a large allocation.

He remains CVNA’s largest shareholder by a wide margin.

Hugh Grant, independent director at Freeport-McMoRan $FCX, disclosed a purchase of approximately $500,000 in a Form 4.

In another Form 4, Greg Creed, director of Delta Air Lines $DAL, revealed an 11,000-share purchase in the airline for just under half a million dollars.

There was bullish options flow in Walgreens Boots Alliance $WBA (third time in a week), Camber Energy $CEI, and the streaming platform fuboTV $FUBO.

Over in Washington, there was some activity from Rep. Dwight Evans of Pennsylvania, who revealed small purchases in Intel $INTC, General Dynamics $GD, and Kinder Morgan $KMI.
