Altimeter Capital Buys Large Stake in Confluent

The highlight of today’s list is the Altimeter Capital Form 4, which revealed a $7 million purchase in the mid-cap software stock Confluent $CFLT.

Altimeter now owns 5,131,700 shares of CFLT.

There was also a significant Form 4 filing by Sequoia Capital’s Roelof Botha, detailing a purchase in the diagnostics and research company Natera $NTRA.

Botha purchased roughly $5 million of NTRA stock, bringing his total share count to over 1.3 million.

There were two separate Form 4s filed for the IT services firm ExlService Holdings $EXLS. Both the vice president and the chief growth officer reported purchases of over $150,000.

Director Amy Griffin reported a purchase of about $1 million of stock in the online dating application Bumble $BMBL.

Last but not least, there was yet another insider transaction in the fintech startup SoFi Technologies $SOFI, as director Harvey Schwartz purchased over $500,000 of stock.

This is the seventh Form 4 filing reporting insider activity in SOFI since the middle of February.

In the hedge fund world, Millennium Management revealed a 5.40% stake in the rocket propulsion system manufacturer Aerojet Rocketdyne Holdings $AJRD.

As for the options market, the reopening trade remains a big theme.

The major US airline Delta $DAL experienced bullish activity in out-of-the-money calls with an expiration less than a month away.
