Introducing Our New Technical Analyst: Tom Bruni!

Many of you already know Tom from seeing him at events in New York City or California and many others from reading his work that I publish here on Allstarcharts.com. Bruni brings a lot more knowledge and experience than most people his age. He interned for us 4 years ago and has continued his pursuit of knowledge in technical analysis even during his work at Ernst & Young, where he clocked enough hours to sit for the CPA.

Meanwhile, Bruni has already passed his CMT level 2 exam and last week sat for the CFA Level 2, currently awaiting his (I’m sure) successful results.

I first met him in 2013 when he knew I would be at a networking event and came to introduce himself. He kept asking me for an internship and his enthusiasm for the market and price following strategies was impressive, particularly for someone as young as he was. But it wasn't until he actually started working for us that summer that I was really able to appreciate his brilliance.

Bruni interned for us in 2013-2014 and would sit there charting alongside of me listening to music and sharing ideas. We always talked about him taking on a full time role with us at some point in the future, and today I’d like to announce that Tom Bruni is officially a Technical Analyst at Allstarcharts.com.

He is currently focused on some of our International ventures in India and Europe but also helps out with Global Macro Analysis, Quantitative Models, Intermarket Relationships and of course U.S. Stocks. There are few people in this world who appreciate a good charting session as much as I do. Bruni is certainly one of those. I am really proud of him for everything he’s been able to accomplish over the past 5 years and I am confident that we’ve only just seen the beginning of his ascent to the top of this business.

I would like to thank everyone who shared their wisdom and experiences with him over the years. Guys like Todd Sohn of Strategas, Angel Investor Howard Lindzon, NYSE Floor Governor Jay Woods, Josh Brown & Michael Batnick of Ritholtz Wealth Management, and many others have all taken Bruni under their wings and helped him out out throughout the past half decade. That means a lot to both of us so thank you!

To have someone like him as a part of our team gives us a huge advantage over everyone else. That’s something I can tell you for certain. I’m really looking forward to sharing some of the things him and I have been working on. So stay tuned!
