Stocktoberfest 2015 This Week

For the next couple of days I'll be in beautiful Coronado, CA for the annual Stocktoberfest. This is the 4th year in a row that I'm in town for the event and it's always an incredible time filled with amazing people. I would argue that it gets better every year as more and more people hear about it and join the festivities. It's normally a healthy combination of market participants and up and coming startups, with particular emphasis in the financial technology space.

This year I'm lucky enough to be on a panel with some of the best technicians in the country. Eddy Elfenbein, well known author of Crossing Wall Street, will be moderating the "Chart Art" panel where I will be joined by Mark Arbeter, Chris Kimble, Brian Shannon and Charlie Bilello. These are some of the best in the business so I can't begin to tell you how excited and how lucky I am to be up on the stage with this crew.

I look forward to meeting everyone this year and getting together with some of the regulars at the event that I unfortunately am rarely able to see throughout the year. Always a fun time. I'm sure I will be having friendly arguments discussions about markets over the next few days. We don't always agree, but we're still friends in the end.
