Video: The Rise of Charting in Social Media

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege of participating on a panel at the Market Technicians Association annual Symposium. The topic was on the growth of technical analysis and charting in social media today. Phil Pearlman (@ppearlman), the Interactive Editor at Yahoo Finance, moderated the panel that included Greg Harmon (@harmongreg), Ralph Acampora (@Ralph_Acampora), Charlie Bilello (MktOutperform) and myself.

I think we touched on some important topics like who to listen to, who to ignore, why sharing helps, and how to use social media sentiment as a tool. I hope this adds some value and helps you get a better understanding as to how we use social media to our advantage as market participants:
