Mystery Chart of the Week

July 24, 2013

Over the last couple of months I've been occasionally throwing out a chart without any tickers or prices on it. The point of this excercise is to avoid any former opinions that you may have had on a particular security. In one case I posted a pair of Europe vs China, and another was a Colombian Bank. But in both charts, I thought the developments were interesting and I got some incredible feedback from readers.

Today's chart is at a pretty significant level, from where I'm sitting. Remember these mystery charts can be stocks, bonds, commodities, currencies, pairs, and they can also represent any time frame. The point of this isn't to figure out what the mystery chart might be. The point of the exercise is to focus on what you think you should do: Long, Short, Nothing, and how would you best manage risk?

The top is price, and plotted below is the 14-period RSI.
