It was a down day for the market. Things felt sleepy, or just a little slow.
People are probably still traveling back from the holiday.
Here are today’s trades:
- I bought $VLO at 136.21 and sold at 137.28.
- I bought $AMZN at 95.44 and sold at 95.94.
- I bought $MRNA on Nov. 25 at 178.50 and sold today at 180.05.
- I bought $PFE on Nov. 25 at 49.13 and sold today at 49.20. It went as high as 49.68. I was watching other names, but traders in the room captured the move!!
- I shorted $IBM on Nov. 18 at 148 and then at 146.58 and covered today at 146.03.
I booked two losers:
- I bought $AAPL at 146.08 and sold 145.51.
- I bought $NFLX at 289.18 and sold at 283.33.
These were both small trades, as tech isn’t moving much. I was just trying to see if they could pop. Small losses.
I have one open position, an $XOM long.
The $SPX came right down to support at 3,981 roughly and broke below that level.
Support is now at SPX 3,956, then 3,933.
