The market sold off most of the day, and, as of now, we’re holding at $SPX 4,015.
Should we break below the eight-day moving average, we can head to SPX 3,992.
Here are today’s trades:
- I shorted $NFLX on Jan. 24 at 357.50 and covered today at 355.33. I did add to the short a few times.
- I shorted $AAPL on Jan. 27 at 144.88 and covered today at 144.10.
- I bought $BROS at 36.94 and sold at 37.40.
- I bought $BABA at 112.15 and sold at 112.40. I wasn’t patient. It hit my target at 113.02; others captured it.
- I bought $ZM at 76.58 and sold at 77.
I booked two losers today:
- I bought $COIN at 61.12 and sold at 58.78.
- I bought $OKTA at 73.19 and sold at 71.33.
I took these two trades small, as I thought they might not have potential.
I have open short positions in $NKE, $RBLX, and $QQQ and open long positions in $KLAC and $HES.
As I mentioned in the Morning Briefing today, we have a lot of factors coming into play this week.
This morning we had some fast trades, then the market fizzled.
